Infectious Diseases Society of India (IDSI) is a registered society under Society Registration Act XXI of 1860, registered in the year 2001, New Delhi. IDSI represents health care professionals who are specialized in infectious diseases, physicians, scientists and others. The aim of IDSI is to promote excellent patient care, prevention, control, public health, education, training and research in infectious diseases. The mandate of IDSI is for advancing the discipline of infectious diseases in India. Members of IDSI will have opportunity to develop national network in infectious diseases for fighting against microbial agents to reduce morbidity and mortality in our country.
